Just wondering what time you guys find is best for Lake Simcoe..I was told whities first thing....what about the rest??
Am I wasting my time launching after 6pm?

I find between 5am - 10ish am the best on cook's & then again 5pm - dark.

Sorry Disspatcher, never been on Lake Simcoe, nor have I had the luxury of landin' some whitie's (someday soon I hope!!) ... mornin' before 11am is my best guess ...

But from my past experience ... Anytime is a great time for fishin' !! ~dokdok :D

Yanno I played that time game ...and i honestly dont think it really werks ...i have busted my butt out to the hot spot for 6 am to get skunked and had my son go out at 4 30 and catch...and then note times i caught on other days ...then go back same time next week and nodda etc ...so personally i think they bite when they are hungry and u gotta be in the right place at the right time,,,just my pennies werth ...but hey its fishin not catchin long as ur havin fun ...

not being an early riser, we'll go out for 9 or 10am and fish til whenever..sometimes as late as 7 or 8 in the summer or til dark on the shorter days.  We've seen many hit at noon to 2pm and 4-5pm... they definitely go in cycles in a day but I cant say its always at a given time.. I think other variables come into play such as the weather, barometric pressure, time of year.

There also seems to be a direct relationship to your daily schedule.. ie: the more late you are for another appt or something, the more they are biting :P
