i went in jungle in panama, but dugout only went so far in,as it was end of rainy season and water was low. we had to get out and walk chest high in water upstream about half a mile,   was crocs on bank, but the guide said its ok,they eat at night and during the day gew warm and sleep.boy was i glad of that, It was not my usual fishing trip lol.  once we had passed the rocks we got another dugout/holds 20 people lol.  we got to village and was greeted by girls errrrr  native dress lol, we fished and they cooked them, then we did alligator dance, bit harder than the twist, but i was ok, good stuff that rum lol.  peopkle were nice and friendly

. they are a permanent tribe.  THE EMBEOS, they are allowed to stay by the government as guardians of the forest, they cant hunt but fish and breed chickens, fruit of course. we were at a resort called Gamboa, lasr part of canal to be dug. its an eco resort. if you like info or pics email me. roniamdoc51@hotmail.com      not used to putting more than one pic a time on here lol

well i quit smoking and saved 2 things, money and my life.    i dont really worry about gas prices, huntsville is 210 clicks away, maybe spend 50 bucks on gas. thats a cheap week,   florida is the worse although i get there for 150-200 bucks, but thats 2 adults there and 3 adults and a teen back so 350 bucks is good for that many. i figured it out, most people fill up with 50 litres, if its 20 cents extra a litre thats only10 bucks. i laugh when i see folks line up for gas 2 cents cheaper.boy, they buy 40 litres and save 80 cents, but idle for 5 to 10 mins in line. dont make sense to me.

p.s. a nice bowl of pigs xxxx soup sets you up for them cold fall mornings, when yer off pike fishing, lol

It sounds like that life style you lead really suits ya Ron.... And you peaked my curiosity with that P.O. Singapore Soup ... looked it up on Wikipedia and it really doesn't sound half bad!
Heck, I'll try just about anything once, especially on pike day (lol).
