All in all it was a great trip ...we had a few really windy days and some decent waves hittin the shore hadda be close to 8 footers rolling in and i wasnt about to go out n measure...all side effects from hurricane Ike ,,, mrs h is already talking about a rerun in the early spring ..humm gotta time that one ...lol...We did the ol hometown thing visiting relatives and seeing old friends and i gotta say this ...going into town shopping with Mrs H is an experience in itself ...but hey the hole town is related i think ,.,,i shulda expected that i think they been there for a 150 years...its great to be home tho ,,,there no place like home...now its time to put some fun back into fishing and head out for some perch.

great pics Horseshoe... for some reason I thought Mrs H was from farther east more towards St Johns. Stephenville Crossing is a nice area.. we took a tour up around the penisula there.. great drive very much like the cabot trail in terms of mountains and ocean scenery. I'm hoping to get back too for a visit, maybe next summer.

regards, mike

Great adventure and pix Mr and Mrs H.!
Glad you made it back from da Rock safely too!

I'd love to take that trip sometime. The furthest east I've been is PEI and Nova Scotia.

Welcome home! :D:D ~dokdok

PS. Did ya try any NF Screech pie with those tasty meals!?!
