Just wondering what fishing goals the good membership here has in mind for this 08 season.

Betting most have gotten a good head start on me, as I haven't had the pleasure of wetting a line much so far this year..

Goals like derbies, a big fish (personal best), a new lake, a new species, getting jr. that first fish.. Please share with us.

Thanx & tight lines!!

I agree being out there is all we can ask for in life, But if your asking a fish over 8 ld every 30 min every time I go would be a good start.

WAKE UP Red... yur dreamin again :D

My big thing is getting back out again. This hard water season saw me out alot more than in previous years and I am going to continue on into the summer. I plan on doing some "blue line" fishing and looking for new spots throughout Simcoe County. I don't have a boat but plan on packin a rod with me every time I hit the road.

Goals for 08 ?

Fishing, fishing and fishing! ...Storie time!

Two years ago  I went on a  icefishing weekend fishing trip from another board. My wife thought I was nuts ,staying a weekend with guys I had never met before and only chatted with on line. I two had reservations but I felt it was worth a chance, Well it not only worked out GREAT,  but gave me some new and valued friends.( like Sunfish and Hawg Hunter, Ravine Rat ,Fishchaser ...) It open my eyes to the many possibilities out there. Since then I have had the pleasure of hooking up with Iceguy (great angler) and steelhedr Matt (good guy) and been to a couple of board M&G  It was a pleasure to meet up with board members (Mike ,Redfisher,Peachy, and Slug) and to meet a few new faces. My goal for 2008 is to hook up and fish as much as possible!( yes Horshoe with  you two) I have always wanted to fish Lake Erie ( Vans is it possible?) to fish the Sun salmon derby and  to place higer than Ice guy and Hawg Hunter. Drag Matt away from steelheads and go for some walleyes Take my Son fishing out as much as he can handle,Hook up with slug and the old buddie of his to icefish,  oh and did I say i want to do a little fishing,,,LOL  Good Question Sunfish!

Take care

Nice picture Real fishin!

You got to take those kids to the  Orrilla Perch derby! They will have a blast when the bite is on! As for you being in Miss. well get some scotty clamp on riggers and head out of Port Credit. They come in close during the run! All the best
