I fired up the old GMC last week, & oops.. I've heard that noise before.lol..
Talk about good timing and a bonus.. The parts counter at Can-Tire here in town had a long lineup so... while killing time in the fishing section I find that the new fishing gear had arrived. Beauty!! They'd taken a bunch of "Wally Divers" shallow & deep and put them out into a junk bin.. $3 each!! A great lure for that evening walleye troll, or for casting at Great Lake piers in the spring..
Long story made short.. Shore lunch needed!! For sanity reasons..lol..
Posts now will soon follow
Let's get'R done!!

Well fellas, I almost made it out the other day.. Can-tire couldn't get me the right alternator I'd ordered..needed..(wrong pully for my belt..) Pretty tough finding a simple part made for the "off shore built vehicle.." I have.. Was built in Oshawa!!!
Not to be beaten/skunked, I took my part to the alternator rebuild place down the road. $85 Vs $129 at Can-tire.. the deal just gets better, only need wait till this afternoon now. Now it's raining...
Gonna have to wait for that shore lunch dangit.. I'm hoping this will hold your tummys over till I get out for a fresh fry, this was a pike & perch fry on the shore last year..

Okay eastfisher I see the substitute is on hand incase you didn't catch fish so that means the picture was taken purposely to rub it in. And just to make it feel like a bad day fishing I'm going to have to fire up the coleman stove and cook up some beans.

My sincere apologies to Mr. Rocky Madison the "Fish Crisp" guru..
You’re a good man FishingBarry, & I wouldn’t trade the belly-ache we all got that weekend for anything.
Cheers my friend
