I have had a favorite fish coating for years and hard to come by but if u happen to see it in your local bait shop try it ...called "Shorelunch" and of course it comes in hot n spicy too (incase u want that) but i always had the regular so as not to disguise the flavour of the fish ... and i have mentioned this before...over the last few years a fellow told me about the batter at Bulk Barn ...made with beer instead of water ...excellent ...reminds me of the fish n chip shop type fish ...not so easy to do on a shore lunch tho as its a batter and the other is a coating ...try em both if you can ...think you'll like em
