Has anyone thought of some way that Go Fish members could be readily identified.  The uniqueness of this site, in that a vast majority of the members fish the waters of Lake Simcoe, make this suggestion a feasible idea.  I keep my boat on Cooks Bay and will probably fish these waters exclusively.  I would enjoy meeting other members of this site while on the water and sharing conversation and information. If anyone has an idea can we share it.  Maybe a window decal or small flag, what ever works.  Please respond.

Hey there Acuteangler, you aren't the first one I have heard talk about a window sticker to identify board members... mabye a poll should be taken to see how many would be interested in purchasing one.

Window stickers or decals are OK but they won't keep my head protected from the hot sun while out on the water!

What about selling all the members a GoFish Ont (logo) baseball cap with their login name on the back! (Great advertising for non-members).

You can even place your website name on it and make a little money to support the cause.

Sign me up, I'll buy one or two or three . . . and actually wear it !!

I am definatly in, that is if they are a qualiy hat, I might know a place, let me look into it. One of my former employers had some very high qual;ity hats made up for a really reasonable cost. I'll see what I can find out.

that'd be great brian.. I googled and found a place in toronto..they'll do smaller quantities like 25, price break @ 36,   the hat's seem to be in the 12-20 dollar range depending on quality and style, plus there's a set up fee for the logo that would be applied.. for locals's we could distribute them easily enough, but for out of towners' thered be a postage cost as well.

I'll wear just about any cap... while scanning their site, they have many styles...here's a unique style that maybe suited to fishing on the water:

100% polyester mesh 7-panel runner cap with superb fit •
Lined with Coolmax Active Performance sweatband to enhance fact wicking of sweat for extreme dryness and comfort •
Peak wrapped with reflective fabric in wave design •
Unique reflective print on side panels in chevron pattern for extra illumination •
Self-cloth back strap with double reflective piping •
Bonus feature: Coolmax lining hang tag •

I'm not saying this is the hat we'll use, just asking how many like this style (comes in black, white, navy or light blue), or do you prefer a more standard hat?

If everyone is serious, we'd need a minimun of 12 to order, obviously if we get to 36, they are a bit cheaper.

That puts us up to about 7 if I count 2 for me

Let's wait til next week, if others are strongly interested, please let me know. Once I get the quote and figure out postage, I can easily add a paypal entry for non-local folks. Shouldnt be too hard to get a minimum order.. Hopefully they'll let us choose hat colors individually as well.

I'll keep you posted.

hey horse, don't forget lil horse! haha.
