'Rough" camp.Wood heat, propane grill and burners. 10 bunks..mattresses..bring a bag and pillow.2nd week of rifle hunt Saturday --Saturday. Fully organized hunt,Dogs and radios..quad is a definate advantage..most watches are quad accesible. 'Lost' most of my members due to old age, inability to hunt and death.I've hunted this camp for over 20 yrs. best week of my year. We do not drink on the watches we drink after..play cards...uchre, cribb or baseball..or watch the hockey game. Usually run dogs in the morning and still hunt after lunch. we will put you on your watch. We hunt privat lands as well as crown (sole access to private lands, exclusive rights) Genny and full batterie back-up for power we are never out of power. All expenses food, gas for genny etc. are shared by all except the owner(our dogger who grew up there).Chores are all shared as well, dishes, clean-up etc.I do the shopping as I'm the cook as well. This week with 8 men should not cost more than $200.00 for the week and probaly less (cheap). I will request you put in for doe tag for area 60 and an $80.00 deposit. Our water is hauled from a local private well and I bring drinking water. Feel free to PM me for futher details. Glen

Wow Greybear!

That sounds  like a great time. Sadly I am not a hunter, but if I was I would be all over that deal like a fat kid on a smartie!!! Good luck and wishing you all the best

Glen,

I'm in Ottawa and might be interested in your camp.  Sounds like a nice set up.

I don't have a WMU map handy (or amap of Ontario), where is your property located ?  And how much acreage do you hunt ?

Sorry haven't answered 'till now. Crazy busy and a couple of personal probs. We hunt a fairly extensive area both private and crown. Other camps around us hunt there parts and we hunt ours so it's a fairly safe hunt. Can't say how much we hunt but it's about a 2 hr. travel around by quad. take care. Gr.B
